Despite the minivan we crossed the peru-bolivia border easily and quickly, getting our passports stamped twice as usual.
The journey from Puno to Copacabana followed Lake Titicaca. Words cannot really describe how big this lake really is... it goes for miles and miles!!

Arriving at Copacabana in our uncomfortable minivan, we were delighted to be met (unepectedly) by a free bus put on by our new hostel.

Copacabana's side of Lake Titicaca felt much warmer, but still a little chilly at night.
The little town had a nice feel to it, but a little like an old sea side resort with boat trips, canoos and pedalos.

We had had enough of boat trips and being scammed by locals so we decided to enjoy the sunshine....

And watching the many typically dressed bolivian women carrying out their daily lives..

After a warmer night sleep and the best breakfast at the hostel so far, we got on the long bus journey to La Paz.

Passing miles of lake Titicaca we suddenly stopped and were told to get off the bus. Next thing we knew we were on a speed boat crossing the Lake and bus was on a large piece of wood with a motor following us across the Lake.

Bizzard.... and a little scary as the bus looked like it was going to sink with all our luggage!!

We made it... and so did the coach.. so we continued our long journey to La Paz.
