Sydney with the girls (part 1)

So after travelling just the 2 of us for over 6 months - it was time for some girly time!!!
The girls (Amanda, Lisa and Lisa) arrived on the 29th Jan and we were all going to stay at Amanda's Aunt and Uncles in Wahroogna for a few days befroe ditching Terry and having some girly time!!

The boys (Danny and Zac) gave us a lift from Port Macquarie to Wahroogna. Amandas Aunt and Uncles place is huge and we bascially had the top floor of the house. The house also had a bar that opened at 12noon and a snooker table (to keep Terry busy).

First day in Sydney we (the girls, Terry and I) went into Syndey, strolled around the habour, opera house and Darling Habour....

At the opera house there were rehearsals for the new years eve events - all stages and lights and a robbie williams tribute act!!

So in order to get a good spot and even get in to the place we get their fro 8am (get up at 6am).

The site is no BYO alcohol, but we manage to sneak in some vodka in a loaf of bread and burried in a large pasta dish!!

After 3 hours of queuing we manage to get in and find a spot. Danny and Zac are also in and we met to spend the day chilling in the sun and await the fireworks....

I manage to find Charlotte - a friend from gymnasts at home and we take a token photograph so that everyone back home knows that we have found each other!!

We had an amazing view of the bridge and opera house...

We waited and waited until finally the show began... first of all plane displays

the 9pm fireworks and finally the midnight fireworks... HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

Next day we headed to Manly Beach..
Of course we took the boys with us.... so they didnt miss out!!!

The ferry the Manly was beautiful..




And Manly beach was pretty cool too...

2nd July Hunters Valley
We booked a coach tour to Hunters valley for a nice day out to the wineries...
Apparently Lisa M gets travel sick so has to sit up front with the rather HOT bus driver!!!!! any excuse!!!

We get driven to some lovely wineries.... and obviously treated ourselves to a few bottles!!

So next day me and the girls started our adventure by flying to Brisbane for some fun in the sun at the Gold Coast..
Whilst Terry went with the boys, Danny and Zac for their own adventure in Melbourne... i cant comment what happended there - apparently what happens in Melbourne stays in Melbourne!!!!! All i can say is 2 can play that game!!! Bring on the girls holiday......
