Montanita

there was not much to do at Puerto Lopez and the weather was rubbish so we decided to jump on a bus to Montanita - having heard it was more lively..

Montanita - a great place to surf, lovely beaches, and a very active nightlife!!

Spending a lot on the last hostel we deceided to go for budget... and for $16 this is what we got..

needless to say we didnt spend much time in our room. our stay included:

relaxing on the lovely beach...


a few beers on the beech..

and cocktails in the evenings...
